fading fast

Im tired of going down this road
tired of always feeling like this
whats the answer to this distress?
like a million voices in my head
this road is worn down
yet none of us ever learn

lost time

set back generations
over power and greed

change the system

we live every day in lies
taught to us by the system
and we all wonder and question
why we are failing
I'm tired of the circus
being the main act
we are the fools
voting with a blindfold
what does it take
to truely unite us?
we are poisoning generatons
for the gain of fortunes
buying our place in hell
when will we learn?
we are doomed as a species
bent on destruction

in the wake

I'm tired of surviving
living this life waiting
watching opportunities pass
swallowed up in the wake
does no one really care?
or are they just like me?
steadily stand by hoping
to be in the right place, right time
history is made by those
who create the biggest waves
I was blessed
with this life I waste
its time to create the impossible
its time to believe in the inevitable
but who am I to kid?
I'm one of a million
who's to say I'll be anything
but just another voice...

Treading water

Set in this path
Fighting the current
Head as hard as stone
Corroding with the passing waves
Shore is near
I can almost feel it
Please let this storm
Subside till dawn
Joints locking up
Shock is setting in
I'm losing my mind and....
Hope is running thin
I cry out to God
If there ever was one
